The Wave desk is inspired by water, wind and sandstone canyons.  Sculpted from over a hundred pieces of solid, sustainably harvested cherry wood, the flow of the grain enhances the carved lines.  The raised element can support a monitor at an ergonomic height (and has a hidden electrical chase for wires) or a vase of flowers.  There are two drawers for supplies and a compartment to hide your keyboard or laptop.  This desk was recently published in an article in the New York Times that you can read here.
